I hadn’t intended to wear three different patterns today. I think it started as necessity [chilly day] and just sort of went organically from there. I like how the stripes ended up showing through the sheer grey shirt.
It’s another stay at home mom day, which meant yoga in the morning and Target/mall shopping for Christmas in the afternoon. Comfort and easy nursing is what this look is about, without looking like the rest of the pajama-fied moms who are out in the middle of the day like me.
These shoes haven’t failed me yet. I like them best with socks, methinks.
This aspen leaf dipped in silver was a gift from my parents, who like to escape the Arizona heat in the summer for a month of Colorado.
This jacket used to be my every. single. day. jacket. Made by the lovely ladies of Minnie Wilde, a now defunct clothing store that had locations in Hayes Valley and the Mission [San Francisco]. It holds a special place in my heart because I bought it on layaway [yes, layaway!] using only the tips I would get as a cosmetology student down the street from the Hayes Valley Minnie Wilde. Considering the haircuts were only $7, the tips took a long time to add up to the price of this jacket. So I really loved it from far away for quite some time. I really dig the western-style detailing, and it’s corduroy! Super cool.
